Switzerland’s immigration policy makes a clear distinction between those who benefit from the Agreement on the Free Movement of Persons (FAZ) which greatly facilitates those people entering and staying in Switzerland from the EU and EFTA countries and the more restrictive conditions for those people from non-EU or EFTA countries.
